The First Sindhu Darshan Yatra in 1997 was led by Sh. L.K. Advani, who was then the Home Minister and a Revolutionist with traditional roots. This significant event was envisioned by Shri Indresh Kumar, a Social Reformer and National Executive Member - RSS. Since its inception, the Sindhu Darshan Festival has been organized annually, and in 2026, we are celebrating the 30th Sindhu Darshan Yatra.
The Yatra was initiated to:
✅ Celebrate National Unity – Bringing together people from diverse backgrounds.
✅ Revive Cultural Heritage – Honoring the Sindhu River, which gave India its name.
✅ Promote Spirituality – Encouraging devotion and traditional rituals at the Sindhu Ghat in Leh, Ladakh.
Every year, thousands of yatris take part in this grand pilgrimage, offering prayers and celebrating the rich cultural and spiritual legacy of India during the Sindhu Festival.
